It began as a day care center in the indigenous community of San Francisco de Oyacoto, Calderón parish, Quito. After 24 years of hard work, today it has 328 students and an academic offer that goes up to the Unified General Baccalaureate, with whom they work on a comprehensive education.
75% of students are provided with daily food; the vast majority of them are low-income children and adolescents – in some cases in conditions of extreme poverty and vulnerability – who reside in the rural commune of Oyacoto, San Miguel and Sta. Anita. Anita.
“Our mission is to educate children and young people in values such as kindness, solidarity, justice, always promoting the value of the family and fostering a community of peace, harmony and well-being”.
These children do not have the support and tools necessary to transcend the vulnerable situation into which they were born.
